Way to make your Readers feel Confidence in You
I have been blogging for quite some time and I’ve seen positive results from all the efforts that I put in engaging with them. You need to note that today, many bloggers overlook the facts that blogs are meant to be personal tools to engage with the audience. They are meant to give the audience a chance to be part of the industry that you are involved in.
In a world whereby information has been widely sought and consequently bought, you want your readers to be comfortable with you. They will have to trust you if you want them to buy from you. Keep in mind that identity theft and other online scams have been a major impediment to online businesses, and not many people will be willing to easily part with their credit cards info easily not unless they can trust you. Many readers may even be wary of submitting their email address to you. They need to trust you.
Making your blog trustable, doesn’t just involves just responding to their comments and trying to guide them, but being very precise and specific in giving them info about what is working out there and what is not. Accomplishing this can be done in various ways. Here are some of the ways that I do in my blogs to ensure that my audience is comfortable with me and thus I’m at a position to sell to them from time to time.
Research is Key to Giving Foolproof Results
Readers visit your blog because they look for information that which is accurate and consistent. Before I pen down anything, I usually do my homework to ensure that all that I type is consistent, has a good flow for readability and is well researched to ensure that the information is not only complete but accurate as possible.
I usually add any relevant statistical data which will emphasis on the clarity and accuracy of the data collected and thus help to emphasize and drive a point home. This may include adding genuine screenshots and other statistical data like charts etc. The data can be summarized using info graphics and other visual elements which are easily to understand.
Use Relevant Examples to Emphasize of the Accuracy of the Data
In order for your readers to believe that whatever your are telling them is working, then you need to use relevant examples. One of the most powerful ways to do this is through the use of case studies. Case studies are powerful in the sense that they are well detailed and documented to ensure that all steps from a logic understanding of the concept at hard.
They are best examples to prove that what you are doing is working. In the case studies, you can add tips and tricks which can be used to add more to the context involved. Comparisons in using a different method other than the one emphasized are also a secret to tell your readers that your methods are foolproof.
Use Different Platform to Engage with your Readers
For my blogs, I usually use a variety of platform to engage with my readers. These range from Facebook updates, videos, podcast etc. using different methods does not only kill the boredom but also shows your readers that you are willing to go an extra mile to ensure that they get the message without much hassle. This is a plus in making them believe that whatever you are doing is worthy and in turn they are going to trust you.
Be helpful to Readers without expecting returns
What I’m talking about here is providing them will well detailed reports and newsletters without charging them. The information contained therein should be powerful and enable them to believe more in you. A free download like an eBook or template or even a checklist which can guide them in their online endeavors can work miracles.
In essence other factors on your blog should also be welcoming such as a good and nice layout, the blogs should also load fast and the images should be visible and entertaining. Social share buttons can also boost interactivity of your readers easily.
